Customers are asked to download the NHS track and trace app as you are required, by law, to provide your contact details by scanning the NHS QR code displayed by the till area. If you do not have a smart phone, our café staff will manually record your details which we will keep on file for 21 days.

Please be aware that we are not able to serve you unless you have recorded your details.


We’re delighted and overwhelmed at the popularity of our events at the Pittville Pump Room Heritage Café, we are also concerned that it’s vital to keep everyone safe while the Covid-19 pandemic continues.

Please could we remind everyone attending of the importance of social distancing. As of Monday 14th September 2020, groups of no more than six can meet socially. We look forward to welcoming you safely in line with the government guidelines. Thank you for your cooperation and support.


Have you visited our new outdoor cafes at the Garden Bar in Imperial Gardens and Skillicorne Gardens, and the Heritage Café and Bar at the Pittville Pump Room portico?

Pittville Pump Room Heritage Café and Bar opening hours:
Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm
Friday, Saturday and Sunday: 9am to 6pm.

Serving morning coffees, cakes and pastries, breakfast baps, paninis, scone and jam, sandwiches and deli sub rolls, ice creams, draught beer, wines, ciders, Prosecco. We offer a salad of the day and afternoon tea is available by prior arrangement at the heritage café.

If you’d like to support The Cheltenham Trust, as a charity, you can do so by rounding up your bill at the tills at the Heritage Café Bar at Pittville Pump Room and the Garden Bar in Imperial Gardens. Your donations and support are much appreciated and help us to bring the cafés and our programme of free live music and entertainment to Cheltenham. Thank you.

Customers loved our full English breakfast offer so it’s on the menu again this weekend at Pittville Pump Room Heritage Café and available for longer, from 9.30am to 2pm. It’s £8.50 or £10.00 including filter coffee or tea. Bacon, sausage, black pudding, scrambled egg, baked beans, hash browns, mushroom and fried bread -OR- vegetarian sausages, hash browns, grilled tomato, scrambled egg, mushroom and fried bread.
We’ve also added American style pancakes at £10.00 with any coffee of tea. Choose from crispy bacon and maple syrup – OR – fresh blue berries, raspberries, strawberry compote and creme fresh.

Cheltenham Town Hall Garden Bar opening hours:
Sunday to Thursday 11am to 8pm
Friday and Saturday 11am to 10pm

The Garden Bar serves pizzas, fries, breakfast baps, draught beer, light lunches, morning coffee, cakes and pastries, ice cream, wines, ciders, bottled beers and cocktails.

 

There’s a full line-up of live acoustic music for you this week at the Garden Bar in Imperial Gardens.

Thursday 24 September from 6pm:

Musician Ged Wilson is at the Garden Bar on Thursday from 6pm playing his blend of acoustic blues roots and latin jazz fusion. Now based in Cheltenham, Ged is well established on the British music scene. He has released four solo albums, toured playing blues clubs, festivals and two sell out tours of France. He creates guitar vibes, harp wails and from the heart vocals, all spiced up with a dash of laconic humour for an upbeat show.

Friday 25 September 2020 from 6pm:

Musician, singer-songwriter Chris Boman started writing and playing music when his father introduced him to The Beatles. He loves to perform and also has poetry, film making and writing in his repertoire

Saturday 26 September 2020 from 4pm:

Matt Roberts will be performing his acoustic rock music at the Garden Bar on Saturday. He started performing and creating music after attaining his music degree. He says he enjoys creating music and experimenting with different sounds and “swamping them in reverb”.

This weekend we’ll be serving loaded fries for £6.50 or £10 with a pint of beer or small glass of house wine, available from 6pm on Friday to Sunday or breaded mozzarella sticks, salsa dip with a bottle of beer or small glass of wine £10.00

Come and safely enjoy a wide range of morning coffee, brunch, light lunches, afternoon tea, cream teas, cakes and ice cream at Pittville Pump Room portico and The Garden Bar and Skillicorne Gardens in Imperial Gardens. Tables and chairs are available, in line with social distancing measures and government guidance.

Toilets facilities are available outside at Pittville Pump Room. The exterior toilets have a separate cubicle for men and women and an accessible toilet which is unisex, they are located on the western side of the building by the car park.

Public toilets in Imperial Gardens, by the side of Cheltenham Town Hall, are available for customers to The Garden Bar.

Staying safe

Please help us to keep you, and our staff, safe by observing social distancing remaining 2m apart at all times. As of Monday 14th September 2020, groups of no more than six can meet socially. We are operating a one-way system in our cafes which is clearly marked. Please dispose of any food and drink cartons in the bins provided or take it home with you. Cleaning materials are available for you to clean the table and chairs before and after you use them.
