Outdoor Cafés and Bar

We’ve made some changes to ordering at the Heritage Café and are now operating table service. Customers are asked to order food and drink at the till point. You will be given a number and invited to seat yourself at a table, your order will then be brought to you. Following the lift of most covid restrictions, all staff interacting with customers will continue to wear masks in communal areas. Hand sanitising stations will remain throughout the buildings, staff and customers will be asked to continue to use them.

The outdoor Heritage Café at Pittville Pump Room offers a takeaway service with tables and chairs available under the colonnade of the Grade I listed regency building. Serving a range of hot and cold food, from coffee and cakes to sausage rolls and wraps, the cafe is the perfect place to enjoy views over the beautiful Pittville Park from the portico. The Heritage Range, hand made by The Cheltenham Trust, is a range of flavoured shortbreads, fudges and relishes, to purchase and enjoy at home. The Garden Bar and Skillicorne Garden are located in Imperial Gardens, alongside Cheltenham Town Hall. The Garden Bar is renowned for its range of pizzas and is open daily, for full opening times please visit https://www.cheltenhamtownhall.org.uk/the-garden-bar/

Free, live outdoor music and entertainment are hosted at both venues. Tables can be booked at both the Heritage Café and Garden Bar by emailing customer.contact@cheltenhamtrust.org.uk, Places are limited, we cannot accept bookings less than 48 hours before you wish to visit. Outside toilets are available for customers at both cafes.

What’s happening at the Pittville Pump Room Heritage Café and the Garden Bar Marquee this summer:

Friday July 30: Five-piece Rhythm & Blues combo Haney’s Big House Band, new to Pittville Pump Room Heritage Café, from 7pm playing in the traditional 40s and 50s style. Their line-up of drums, double bass, guitars and harmonica, using largely period-vintage instruments to create an authentic sound which is the essence of Haney’s Big House.
