Venue Sales Assistant
Salary: £17,288 – £18,309 per annum
Permanent Contact 40 Hours per week
We’re looking to recruit a motivated and confident Venue Sales Assistant to join our face paced sales and marketing team.
The role will assist with sales and venue hire enquiries and help to deliver events across our iconic venues in Cheltenham.
Based at Cheltenham Town Hall you will help to promote bookings in all the venues.
This will include weddings, conferences, business events, dinners, dances and festivals. You will be the first point of contact for enquirers regarding availability and the right venue and space. Your focus on customer and client management from their initial booking enquiry through to the event and follow up will be second to none and consistent in your can-do approach.
You will be tasked with guiding and showing potential hirers around our venues and proactively upsell where possible. You will be a highly organised individual who will follow our correct booking process for all hirers, you will also correctly and accurately utilise the business systems as per the guidelines. Your responsibilities will include showing potential hirers our venues and tailoring bespoke packages to secure business.
