About the role…

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about the fitness industry to help others reach their health and fitness goals, as well as developing your own knowledge within this role. You will need to be able to provide excellent customer service and be focused on member retention. Candidates should have a pro-active nature and be able to use their own initiative.

The successful candidate will help to oversee the general operations of the gym. The role will involve carrying out customer inductions, programme reviews, as well as delivering express classes and group fitness activities. Other key expectations of the role will be to contribute to daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance tasks whilst
providing a high level of customer service and interaction. The role will also include opening and closing the gym, class set ups and any other reasonable tasks.

To be successful you will need…

  • A Qualification in Level 2 Fitness Instructing is essential for this role. More advanced qualifications such as Level 3 and GP referral would be advantageous in your application.

Shift patterns include early shifts, evenings, weekends and bank holidays. You will be responsible for opening and closing the gym We are therefore looking for candidates
that are flexible and able to work a range of weekday and weekend hours.
