Young budding filmmakers in Cheltenham are being invited to take part in a free project to make their own film in just three days.

The Cheltenham Filmmaking Project is for young people aged 15 to 25 and is being held at The Wilson Art Gallery and Museum from 29–31 October.

The project gives young people the opportunity to write, star and direct their own short films working with professional filmmakers from Create Studios in Swindon.

Those taking part will see their work on the big screen when their films are showcased at The Wilson as part of the venue’s special screening events in November this year, and in March and June 2020.

The project is being provided free of charge thanks to funding from the National Lottery Community Fund and Cheltenham Borough Council. Sessions run from 10.30am to 4pm on the three days.

Places are limited and demand is expected to be high so reserve your place by emailing Oliver Tipper at learning@cheltenhamtrust.org.uk
