Leisure at Cheltenham voted county’s best health and fitness business
The prestigious awards, hosted at Gloucester Cathedral by So Glos, the online lifestyle magazine for Gloucestershire, were attended by more than 400 guests and winners were announced following a public vote.
The Health and Fitness category, won by the Leisure At team was one of 22 awards celebrating the best of the county’s businesses.
Leisure at Cheltenham Manager, Greg Chesters said “We’re so happy and proud to have won this award which is a testament to the commitment of our wonderful staff team.
“Over the last 12 months we have invested more than £2.5 million into facilities at Leisure At to improve the customer experience, expanding our gym, increasing studio space and creating the popular Splash Pad. We would like to thank our loyal customers for their support and for voting for us to win the award.”
Pittville Pump Room, also managed by The Cheltenham Trust, was the runner-up in the Wedding Venue of the Year, in the most competitive category of 23 short-listed local venues.
Cheltenham Trust Chief Executive, Laurie Bell added: “I am really pleased that two of the venues run by the Cheltenham Trust have received this excellent recognition for the range of services we offer the local community in Cheltenham and for the many people who visit our town each year.”
